• Class sessions are designed for beginners;
• Players' who've been missing the sway of the berimbau and are ready to get back into the game;
• Intermediate angoleiros/as (e mais tudo capoeiragem) who can adjust, have fun with, and represent the Palmarino/a sense of ergonomic style well.

Have fun while growing in game skills vocally, physically, mentally, applying these skills in the greater sphere of life.

Providing all participants with the necessary resources to go and compete at Afro Brazilian cultural enrichment events. To send students from Portland to visit other groups locally, regionally, nationally,& internationally. To bring participants and players of all levels from other places around the world to experience our playing culture here in Portland.

It The Loop Lcations:

 

For Intermediate and advanced team players who have:

• their volunteer hours in for the month - 4
  • Grant Application and strategy
  • Actual physically recycling
  • Partnering with other NPOs
  • wood working
• travel to play event done for the prvious month -1
• Local game event in for the previous month - 2
• recycling fund raiser reqs done
• social justice inpact as part of their training agreement
• monthly nonprofit class dues ($40)
• Advancing on the step to their personal goals through mentorship
• (Following the grass roots blue print to form their own not-for-profit organization based on their own view of the world locally, regionally, nationally, internationally)
• One or more Zoom training sessions a month to get to know the broader community in our training circles across Brazil, EUA (USA), and elsewhere
• Keeping a notebook of the movements and songs, we work on, the etiquette, where aspects intersect with other dances, where aspects intersect with other martial arts, where aspects intersect with other musical forms, and those forms influence on Capoeira and Capoeira de Angola
• Once a month showing up to the public class to practice live music (while the newer people, drop-in, people practice movement)
• Fundraising to Help one's self go to Bahia - Fundraising to help teammates in Bahia - Fundrasing to help kids food programs in Northern Brazil - and support Capoeira in public Education.

Our outlook is similar to  that of many traditions around the globe that incorporate rythmic movement into the training process.

This as it is tends to be outside confirmation of what we endevor to practice in song, and in a pressure based sense of safety measured with rising degrees of peril as the heat of the dance diles up.  And hones in from many diverse combinations of variant strengths and needs for practical safety.

We have a bit more fun by taking this into full fledged, immediate social situational commentary and song.
